Flow Testing .

Flow testing is generally used to test that a filter meets certain flow characteristics. Variations from set parameters can be used to tindicate a number of problems with the production process. For example, a measured flow rate that is higher than a specified parameter may indicate that a filter is not properly sealed or there is a problem with the media. Alternatively, a lower flow characteristic may indicate a blockage in the filter.

If required, these parameters can be used for pass/fail criteria and the results may be recorded to databases etc. for production history data.
